I finally finished a page layout today! Well almost finished it anyway. . . I purchased two 12X12inch scrapbook frames to hang two 12X12 layouts on the wall above my scrap desk during christmas sales, but haven’t had the time to actually make layouts for them. I finally managed to work on this one between studying for finals (one to go!!). I made this page layout to go in one of the frames. I used cardstock, the Cricut Walk in My Garden cartridge, a Cuttlebug embossing folder, a photo editing program, the Pazzles inspiration, ink, ribbon, adhesive, and photo splits. I am going to add either eyelets or flowers die cuts (maybe flower die cuts with eyelets in the centers) in the corners of the photos that are still showing. I used some of my favorite photos on this layout since it will be hanging the frame right in front of my work space. Close-up detail photos are below:
The photo above with the dog shows a close-up of the embossing. I just bought this Cuttlebug embossing folder last weekend and I really like it. It is really vintage/floral looking. I inked the edges of all the different colored squares. This one is inked with pink and copper, so it is a little shimmery. In the photo editing software I tinted all the photos with pink hues so they blended into the layout.
These huge letter die cuts were made using the Pazzles Inspiration and a pretty true type font. Then once they were cut out, I embossed them with the same embossing folder that I used for the medium cream squares.
This flower was made using the Cricut machine and Walk in My Garden cartridge. I used the flower, center, and shadow on the 2.5inch setting.
