I finally decided to pull out the sewing machine and try it out on paper! I’ve always thought that the stitching looked amazing, but I never tried it myself. It was very simple and it turned out nicely. With the sewing machine, I just went a little slower with the paper than with fabric.

This card was made for this weeks sketch challenge at 2 Sketches 4 You. You can find the sketch at http://2sketches4you.blogspot.com/2008/07/kazans-sketch-5.html .

I made the friends die cut from the Cricut Walk In My Garden cartridge. The flower in the deep pink square is actually just cut out from the patterned paper used for the card. The edges are chalked with brown chalk.
