Here it is! The first SBG1 challenge ever! SBG1 stands for Splitcoaststampers Blogger Group #1. As a group, we have decided to take turns hosting challenges every two weeks and this was my turn to host 🙂
For SBG1 Challenge #1, your challenge is to make something black and blue (don’t bruise anybody though, LOL). Your project can be a card or layout or 3d item. To enter your project for this challenge, simply leave me a comment on this post with a link to your project. All entries posted by November 12th at midnight EST will be eligible for the prize!
Since this is the first ever SBG1 challenge, there will be a small prize pack. The prize pack will include a random assortment of stamped images. The winner will be chosen at random. International crafters are welcome to enter. There will not be prizes for every challenge.
For this example piece, I used patterned papers from The Paper Studio, black cardstock, blue ribbons, and some Stampin UP stamps I just got in the mail. The butterflies are from the Flight of the Butterfly set. The sentiment is from the Best Yet set. I stamped the larger butterfly in SU Pacific Point ink. The blue card base measures 4.25X5.5inches. I scanned the card in a little crooked, but just imagine that it is straight 🙂
