SBG1 Challenge #2

I made this card for the SBG1 Challenge #2. The challenge was hosted by Heather. To check out the challenge, go to Heather’s blog: http://scrappinmominky.blogspot.com/2008/11/blog-challenge.html.
For this card, I used the SU Snow Swirled set for all the snowflakes. The sentiment is from Inkadinkadoo Warm Holiday Wishes set. I used the scallop edge punch to make the scallop on the Regal Rose cardstock (I learned how to make the scallop corner with the edge punch!!). The main snowflake and sentiment are stamped in SU Chocolate Chip. Then I accented them with Distressed Stickles “Vintage Photo”. I also accented the scallop with the Distressed Stickles. The background snowflakes on the Certainly Celery Cardstock are stamped in SU River Rock (In Color 07-08, retired). The ribbon is SU Pink Pirouette grosgrain.

  1. I love this! So pretty…That’s great about the edge punch for cleaning up the scallop corner, never knew! First thing in the morning and I’ve already learned something new today 🙂

  2. Very cool! Hey, you know what, this challenge matches your blog colors!! LOL

I really love these challenges…it is so neat to see what different cards come from a small set of guidelines. 🙂
