IBC Challenge #1

This is the first ever IBC Challenge! IBC stands for Idea Book & Catalog. The IBC challenges are intended to get everyone thinking about the Stampin’ UP catalog as an idea book and not only a catalog (which it is partially intended to be). The Idea Book & Catalogs are all filled with great sample projects which you can use as inspiration.

For IBC Challenge #1, use the card above as your inspiration piece.

The winner will be chosen at random from everyone who enters. The winner will receive a stamped images prize pack! The winner will also be showcased on my blog 🙂

1. post your card and a link to this challenge on your blog
2. post a comment on this post with a link to your card.

Entries are due by next Friday!!

Below is the card I made for the challenge. I used the same overall design with a few minor tweaks. My card features a SNEAK PEEK!! The heart stamp is from a hostess set called A Little Something. This set will be available as a hostess set in the Spring 09 catalog. To make the hearts border at the bottom, I used the Love wheel with Pixie Pink ink. The card measures 4.25X4.5 inches. The strip of patterned paper is from the SU Green Tea paper pack (which is retiring!!! AHH It is my favorite!). The sentiment is from the SU Always stamp set. I also used Pink Pirouette ribbon, Certainly Celery Cardstock, and Pink Pirouette Cardstock.

  1. Cute card and great challenge! I will try to make one. I’m trying to play catch up today.

Love the pattern you added at the bottom and your ribbon is so cute.
