Life is Good LO

We took this picture on a trip to the lake one summer when we were still in high school (which wasn’t that long ago for us actually, since we are in college now). It is one of our favorite photos because we are both making really weird faces (which shall not be seen!! LOL). I have this same photo framed in my scrap room 🙂

For the LO, I used My Minds Eye & DCWV patterned papers. The works Life is Good were stamped on the paper using Basic Grey ink. The stamp is from the SU Text and Texture stamp set. There is a button in the center of the layered silk flower and I outlined the Mellow Moss cardstock circle with Stickles glitter glue. I used glitter Thickers to make the word “Fun”. Oh, and there are flower eyelets in the corners of the photo (I am trying to use more eyelets).

  1. Fun! I am sure the faces totally reflect the mood of your overall lo. The colors are great and the balance of the page is wonderful. It has to be so cool framed! Thanks a bunch for sharing ~

  2. The details just make this page! I bet the faces on the pic would add to it! The LIFE IS GOOD stamp sets this page off. You gotta love these fun memories.

  3. Oh, I love this layout! The colors are just gorgeous! Looks like it would be a fun picture…and the sentiment is perfect for it!

So, how do you get the black circles on there? Do you use Picasa? I am photo editing challenged. 🙂 Just happy to have figured out the watermark!
