Little Guy LO

As my buddy Jennifer just commented. Scrapping is very therapeutic and this is very true for me it seems. This is my 4th LO using the February Crush kit from Vintage Plum ( and I still have plenty more to use up!

I used a sketch made by one of my buddies named Kim from Serendipity Scrapbooks.

For this LO, I used this cute bird paper with photos of my little canary. His name is Bob :O)

All the pieces of this LO were included with the kit except the ink, doodle stamps, Stickles glitter glue, a rhinestone, and markers.

The stamps used here are from the Stampin’ UP Doodle This stamp set. I stamped it in SU Chocolate Chip ink and then went over the doodles with a SU Real Red marker. The journaling is also done with the marker.
I carefully cut around this bird shape except for around his feet because the bird is from the square patterned paper. I didn’t want him to be covered up with the cardstock. The heart was part of the kit on a Color Me page. I colored it with SU Markers and cut around it. I attached it to the ribbon with a Stampin Dimensional (foam pop dot).

You can’t tell, but I put Stickles and a Rhinestone on his crown.

  1. This little bird is so cute, I wish I could have him…LOL! The page is great! I LOVE how you journaled down the side of the scallops, that looks great. I am always scared to try things like that! Love it!

  2. What a beautiful layout using your new paper. I’m so sorry to hear about your pup. 🙁 I always consider my dogs just “part of the family” so I’m sure it was very difficult for you. Glad you are finding your papercrafting so therapeutic.
