Wall Art

I have had this lovely idea for a while, but hadn’t gotten the supplies to get the job done. . . I wanted to hang scrapbook LO’s on the wall, but I wanted to be able to change them out without a lot of hassle.

So I got a cheapo curtain rod at big lots and some curtain hangers (the clip kind). Johhny helped me hang the curtain rod, and then I used the clips to hang a line of page protectors on the hanger! My curtain rod is a little over 7 feet long so I could get 7 LO’s hung on it.

I put some of my favorite recent LO’s on it and my desk faces that wall so I can have the LO’s as inspiration when I am working on a project.

  1. Very nice! I just got some clothes pins and I will be hanging some twine through my craft room like a clothes line…reminds me of being a kid and helping my grandma take down the laundry! I love that curtain rod!

  2. This looks really good! I want to clip up my cards, like Clip it Up, but don’t have $$ to fork over for their system. I saw a neat idea in a book at the library–it was a shelf with a large dowel rod underneath it and had the curtain clips on it. Wouldn’t be good for scrapbook lo’s but would be perfect for cards. Have a great day!

  3. Sam, what a great idea! I’ve been racking my brain trying to decide how I want to display mine. I love to enjoy them for a little while before filing them away in albums. This is a great way to do it. TFS
