Sketch Challenge # 18

Here is this week’s sketch challenge:

If you use the sketch, please post a link so everyone can check it out!!

Here is my example:

This LO is another SNEAK PEEK from the upcoming Stampin’ UP catalog (that starts July 1st). The background cardstock is Soft Suede, one of the new In Colors. AND all that beautiful patterned paper is from the new Stampin’ UP paper pack called Tall Tales. This is THE perfect boy paper pack. It uses very masculine colors and there are cute little animals and trees on the papers. I cut the trees, owl, and elephant out of the patterned papers and then used Stampin’ Dimensionals foam dots to make the elements have dimension on my page.

There is a matching stamp set that coordinates with this patterned paper, but I didn’t have enough in my pre-order budget to get it :O( I hope to get it later because it is cute. The coordinating stamp set is called Animal Stories.

***I would also like to get up on my soap box and say that ordinarily, I do NOT condone putting children’s photos online. I know 99% of visitors are good people but that little percentage of weirdos is enough to keep me from posting my future children’s photos on the computer. You never know who is viewing the photos. With that said, I made this exception because. . . this is my fiance when he was little!! He is grown up now so it doesn’t matter if someone bad sees these! Isn’t he a doll??

  1. ROTFL! That disclaimer was funny! I am glad you get my post it note embellished pages that I post! 🙂

Awesome layout! I hope to scrap on Friday when I “teach” my GF how to scrap. Might be doing more teaching than doing, but that is OK!

  2. I love this LO! It’s interesting, and I love the panels on all angles!!! My oldest girl is 4, and we are having the worst time trying to get her not to suck her thumb anymore at bedtime!
