Every Tuesday, I am digging into my stash and using something I have been hoarding. I have a room full of stuff and I am going to try to USE IT!! I hope you will join me and start using your own stuff more.
This week, my project features the Scor-pal. I bought this neato tool with tons of great ideas on how to use it. . . and it has been on my shelf! This week, I am using it!!
Edited to add details! See below.
- This is one of the neatest, yet easiest cards I have ever made! I had the help of my Scor-pal so the aligning was a snap. I just cut my piece of Close to Cocoa cardstock in half so that it measured 5.5X8.5inches and then scored it using my Scor-pal where there are little dot markings. Scor-pal has the measurements already ready for this type of opening (somebody please help me out with the name LOL)
- Then when I was done scoring, I just folded both of the flaps down and stamped onto the front with the Stampin’ UP Sense of Time stamp set. I used Chocolate Chip ink.
- The front piece is stamped with a sentiment and gears from the same stamp set. WARNING! Only attach the front piece to ONE side of the card or you won’t be able to open it! LOL
