Pumpkin Patch Card Use It Tuesday #22

Happy Tuesday everyone!! Today, the Stampin’ UP Holiday Mini comes out! YAHOO!

Every Tuesday, I am digging into my stash and using something I have been hoarding. I have a room full of stuff and I am going to try to USE IT!! I hope you will join me and start using your own stuff more. Go Use it!!

Today, I would like to share an adorable little card with you using a stamp set now available in the Holiday Mini Catalog!! This card features Stampin’ UP’s brand new stamp set called Pumpkin Patch. This is such an adorable stamp set! I thought this was a great little Fall stamp set to have. BUT the stamp set isn’t what I am really USING for the USE IT Tuesday LOL. . . it is actually the inks!

I pulled out my much neglected Craft inks and used the Green Galore for the grass and pumpkin stems and then I used Tangerine Tango (one of my most neglected In Colors from last season) ink too.

Now I want to explain my neglecting of the Craft inks a little bit because it is quite a pity! First, I just want to say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE embossing! I think it is one of THE best techniques known to womankind. I have a giant bottle of clear embossing powder which is bottle number 2 of clear for me because I used to emboss a lot.

My problem happens to lie in the fact that I have only Craft inks in the Stampin’ Spots. Some people prefer the Stampin’ Spots, but I DO NOT!!! I really dislike them! One of the main reasons they bother me so much is they are not stored in my color caddy like my full sized pads. I have them stored in this little bin on my scrap table, but they are still less convenient so I just usually grab for my colors in my color caddy.
