Use It Tuesday #23 & Some Good News

My good news is My MRI results are in and my brain is perfectly healthy!!!!! YIPPEE!!!!!!! I have been freaking myself out the ENTIRE weekend because silly little me decided to LOOK at my MRI scan (bad idea) on Thursday when they sent me home with a copy of the scan on CD. . . well that was a poor choice, but what did you expect right??!?! I mean they handed it to me and told me I could look at it!!! Anyway, nothing in my brain to worry about so my brain isn’t causing the migraines. I’m supposed to hear back about some blood work later this week so wish me luck! I hope to get some answers!

Now let’s move on to some fun stuff, shall we?

Every Tuesday, I am digging into my stash and using something I have been hoarding. I have a room full of stuff and I am going to try to USE IT!! I hope you will join me and start using your own stuff more. Go Use it!!

Today, I pulled out some neglected patterned paper, border punch, and paper scraps and I combined them with my first ever DT project for DOODLE BEANS!!!! I created this:

samanthastrachanewe1

I was so happy with the was this little lamb turned out! Be sure to take a peek at Doodle Beans. This stamp can be purchased at Doodle Beans Digital Stamps. So I printed this stamp directly onto my Whisper White cardstock and then colored it in. I used an aqua painter to color in the lamb and just SU markers to color in the rest. I like the way the lamb is a little softer than the rest.

The sentiment was actually on the Whisper White cardstock right about where the scallop is so what I did was I punched out the white circle and sponged it with Pink Pirouette ink to make the paper pink! That way I didn’t have to print two times :O) When I layered the sentiment with the scalloped circle, no one could tell that I had taken the sentiment from the paper below!! He he, sneaky, huh??!?

Patterned paper is from the DCWV Spring Stack this year and the scraps are misc. SU cardstock scraps. I hope you like it!
