I am sneaking away while Johnny is working on some homework so I can get this posted. We are celebrating his birthday today!!! YIPPEEEE!!!!!!!!
Today’s Use It Tuesday edition is brought to you by my mom! She made the card I am going to share with you today using scraps from my scrap pile during our last monthly crop. I am very proud of her Use It Tuesday skillz!! :O)
But first, I want to share with you photos of Johnny’s cake as promised! This is the 4 layer chocolate cake I made for his birthday. He called it “Spectacular” so I guess that means he liked it. It wasn’t the most beautiful cake, but it was definitely something LOL. Enjoy!
Every Tuesday, I am digging into my stash and using something I have been hoarding. I have a room full of stuff and I am going to try to USE IT!! I hope you will join me and start using your own stuff more. Go Use it!!
This week’s card was made by my dear mother for my dear fiance! She made it during our monthly crop and I was so proud of her. I showed her the inking technique for the Extreme Guitar stamp but other than that, she did everything all on her own!
- Guitar guy is a single stamp from Stampin’ UP called Extreme Guitar. He is stamped in Pacific Point classic ink (retired in color from 08-09) and Basic Black Classic Ink.
- The background cardstock is also Pacific Point cardstock. She stamped it with a stamp from the Stampin’ UP Itty Bitty Backgrounds stamp set.
- The sentiment is from the Stampin’ UP Voila To Go stamp set. It is punched out with the Stampin’ UP Curly Label Punch.
