Goodbye Stampy #4

Here is Goodbye Stampy Challenge #4!
Each week, I will feature a project using a retired Stampin’ UP stamp set and if you have the stamp set, I hope you will share your projects on here as well, just post a link to your project using the same stamp set for that week in Mr. Linky below! I am sure I am not the only one out there with a bunch of retired stamp sets so I hope we can have some fun!
This week, I am featuring the Stampin’ UP Merci stamp set. I acquired this stamp set recently when a dear friend of mine was weeding through her older stamps (Thanks, MeMe, I love you!!). I just really love how whimsical and adorable this set is and I love anything butterfly related (recall, 2 weeks ago, Goodbye Stampy was a butterfly theme LOL). Anyway, as you can see, I have a stamp attachment problem which is the whole point to having the Goodbye Stampy section in the first place. Let’s use those retired stamps, people!!

Here is my card:

With posting this card, I only need 4 more projects to complete my Paper Ho Challenge!!! YIPPEE SKIPPY!!

  • I stamped the sentiment onto Pretty in Pink cardstock and then punched it out using the Stampin’ UP Modern Lable Punch (one of my new faves!!!) and attached it with some mini brads I had in my stash.
  • The background cardstock is also Pretty in Pink.
  • The Whisper White cardstock was stamped with all the retired Merci stamps, which I then colored in with my Stampin’ UP markers.
  • I matted the Whisper White cardstock onto some Cottage Wall designer Paper.
  • The background paper is retired Raspberry Tart designer paper (I still have some 6X6 paper kits available in my SP Store!).
  • I also used some ribbon I had in my stash.

Sign up for updates via email & never miss a project!
