For this week’s Just Buggin’ Challenge #8, which was to make a card, I made this cute and simple Peek a boo card!

This card was an easy one to pull together because the base of the card was cut out using my Cricut machine and the Cricut Wild Card cartridge.

  • The card base was made with the Cricut Wild card cartridge using Stampin’ UP Only Orange cardstock.
  • On the inside of the card, I put a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and I punched the corners with the Ticket Corner Punch.
  • The patterned paper on the front is from the Stampin’ UP Night & Day designer paper pack. I used the Eyelet Border punch to make the decorative border across the designer paper. The Happy Halloween ribbon was just some ribbon I had in my stash.
  • The bird and sentiment stamp is from the Stampin’ UP Twick or Tweet stamp set. To get the image positioned inside the peek-a-boo window, I used my stamp-a-ma-jig. I stamped it in Stampin’ UP Basic Gray Classic Ink (which is waterproof) and then colored it in with my Stampin’ UP markers.
