For this week’s Use It Tuesday project, I used a bunch of patterned paper from my ever-growing collection AND I pulled out a bunch of little embellishments I have been hoarding! I felt like such a success!!! LOL
This LO was prompted by the challenge over at All About me Challenges. Their challenge this week REALLY “spoke” to me so I gave it my all and this layout was the result. The prompt was:
“Do you ever feel as though you’ve been pigeon-holed? Categorized? Labeled? Misunderstood? As though you’ve changed, but no-one else sees it? Who does everyone think you are? Who do you really think you are? Are they the same?”
Well abviously, I went with the categorized/labeled aspect because I have been labeled “the smart girl” more than once, LOL!!!
- My journaling says it all: “Yes, I am smart, but there is more to me than just an IQ. Most of my friends and family can have trouble seeing past the brain and I am still just “the smart girl” “. 2009 Everyone here on my bloggity sees my creative side, but my family (aside from my fiance) still has trouble seeing more to me than just a smart kid.
- Paper is a mixture of DCWV and MME that I had in my stash. I have no clue about the origin of the embellishments.
- The scallop circle and circle were cut from the Cricut Accent Essentials cartridge.
- Alphabets are Foam and Vinyl Thickers.
