Sweet Treats Cuteness

AHHHH You will never believe what I did today! I thought I was doing awesome getting this posted at noon today. . . well I hit SAVE instead of PUBLISH!!! DOH! Oh well, at least I realized it, now you will have two posts for your late night enjoyment :O)

Well, I think I am officially in love with the Sweet Treats cartridge! Now I need to throw a party!!! LOL

Aren’t these party favor boxes the cutest things???? Gosh, if only Johnny and I had children, what fun I would have making party favors for all their little get-togethers! LOL maybe in a few years. . . (that darn college thing gets in the way sometimes, know what I mean???)

Anyway, here is my lovely Cricut Wednesday project for you! This is for the challenge over at Just Buggin’. I picked out the fabulous design team yesterday and already they are hard at work designing gorgeous projects. Already, I can’t say enough good things about my team! They are just so amazing!!

Oh, you actually want to know about my project? LOL I guess I should tell you a bit about it too!

The box was made using My Mind’s Eye Summer Song glitter paper. I used the Sweet Treats cartridge to cut the box out.
Then the little doggie was cut out of Close to Cocoa cardstock and Chocolate Chip cardstock from the Cricut Paper Pups cartridge. To create his little eyes, I used my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker and then put little dots of white Signo gel pen in the center of his eyes for the “shine”.
The little basket loop was made with 1/4inch Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon. This ribbon is stiff enough to hold the little basket handle shape so I love it!!
