Rachel Ray Bakeware Review

Today, I am going to do something a little different around here. I mentioned this a while back so if you are a regular here at SP, you might already know about this. Pictured above is one of my specialty dinners: Chicken pot pie casserole. I made it in my brand new Rachel Ray bake ware!!

I was contacted a while ago by CSNstores.com and they made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. They asked me to do a review for them and I was so excited to say YES!! If you don’t know about CSNstores.com let me take a second to tell you about them. CSN stores is an online retailer with over 200 different online stores. Each store specializes in one category of items such as furniture, bake ware, office supplies, etc. They have pretty much any item you can think of.

I chose to review the Rachel Ray 5 piece bake ware set. I chose this set because I happen to enjoy baking and this set is dishwasher safe AND non-stick, a perfect combo in my opinion. I also love the cute little handles.

It was so exciting when the big package arrived at my house! They packaged the bake ware so carefully and everything arrived in beautiful condition. They did a great job shipping it (if you order anything online, you know how important the packaging can be, I hate it when things arrive in less than perfect condition). So I was really impressed at how carefully CSN packaged my bake ware set.

After opening up my package and pulling out all the bakeware, I was so excited that I had to get them washed so I could use them for dinner.

That night I made hamburgers (yes I bake them) in my new baking pan, but I forgot to take a photo. I was really happy with the way my hamburgers came out. The handles on the sides of each dish really come in handy when pulling things out of the oven. I noticed this because my other dishes don’t have handles like these do. I will definitely be buying more dishes with handles from now on.

AND finally, I want to tell you, they weren’t kidding when they said the dishes were non-stick. For dessert, I made a sopapilla cheesecake, pictured below:
I took out some of the little cheesecake squares so you could see that they come off the dish beautifully. Now I know what you are thinking. . . those look delicious, don’t they?? Well, I thought you would think so, so I have the recipe for you!! When I was at my first craft fair recently, the Pampered Chef that had a booth made these lovely treats and so I immediately wanted to make some of my own. I found a recipe online and adjusted it to my tastes. This was actually the second time I made Sopapilla Cheesecake and it was magical! LOL

2 cans of Pillsbury Crescent rolls
1 cup of sugar
1 8oz package of Cream Cheese, softened
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter, melted

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Roll out one can of crescent rolls in baking sheet in one flat sheet of dough (I used my beautiful new Rachel Ray baking sheet!!) Do not separate the rolls.
2. Set aside 1-2 tablespoons of sugar and pour the rest of the sugar into a mixing bowl. Add cream cheese and mix until combined.
3. Spread cream cheese mixture over the rolled out dough.
4. Roll out the second can of crescent rolls over the cream cheese.
5. Brush melted butter over the top of the dough and sprinkle cinnamon and 1-2 tablespoons of sugar over the top.
6. Bake until golden brown, approx 20 minutes.

Overall, I am very pleased with my new bake ware set and I would highly recommend it if you are in the market for some new dishes. The handles are convenient, the non-stick surface is great, and they are pretty! These dishes are far nicer than the other bake ware I have purchased in the past.
