HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!! I hope you all have great things to come in this new year and new decade. I have a feeling this is going to be a great year!! I am excited to kick off 2010!!!
First, I would like to take moment and thank YOU for playing along here each week. When I first started SP Color Combos, I really didn’t have any clue what I was doing and I just wanted to start something great. Because of you all, I am happy to say that SPCC rocks!!
Secondly, I need to discuss some changes I am making here. As you all already know, I am a Stampin’ UP demonstrator and because of the new demonstrator agreement, I am no longer permitted to have sponsors here because it goes against the new rules on promoting competitive projects. Thankfully, Stampin’ UP worked with me and gave me an extension to the end of 2009 so that I could finish my contracts with our great sponsors we had. Now that time is up, I am now left with two choices. . .
1. stop offering prizes, or
2. offer prizes by myself and be the only sponsor here at SPCC
Lucky for everyone here, I chose number 2!! :O)
I chose to offer the prizes because I want SPCC to stay awesome and I feel the prizes make it more special to win. I love giving and I love making others happy so it is my small way of saying thank you!
SO. . . the biggest change is that the prizes are all going to be supplied by ME! They might be smaller most weeks, but they will still be fun.
I wanted to explain this because that means something for me personally. Rather than having free prizes like I have been having, I am going to have to start paying for the prizes. I am not complaining AT ALL. I am more than happy to do so, but it changes my perspective of SPCC somewhat. Since I am funding the prizes, I am going to be promoting my online store and Stampin’ UP business more actively on SPCC. I have many things to offer and I want to share more info about my business with you.
My hope is that you will all play along every week and some of you will become my customers. I know many people already have great demonstrators, but I know many of you don’t! I want to be your great demonstrator. I am trying to be more of a business demonstrator and actually grow my business in the coming year while saving for my wedding (which will be early 2011).
The first few months of 2010 are going to be a bit unusual around here because before I start giving away STAMPIN’ UP PRODUCTS, I need to de-stash some of what I already have. I am going to be putting together some prize packs made from items in my room for prizes until I get some of my stash under control. I don’t want you to think the misc. prize packs are the norm (they will still be great, but not as great as when I am done de-stashing!!!). After I de-stash a bit, I will start offering Stampin’ UP products, free templates, product shares, kits etc. It is going to get really exciting around here, and I can’t wait to share some of my prizes with you!!!! I have got some great things planned!!!
