Hey everyone!! I am WAY late today!! It was our last day before school starts again for the semester so we were getting everything in order. . . errands. . . organizing. . . and sorting.
My My, a lot of things have been happening. . . first, I will get all my winners picked and posted tomorrow, I just didn’t get to it today. Too many things to do and too little time.
Second, I have stepped down as the leader over at Just Buggin’, my Cricut challenge blog. I just decided to step down because I need to take on less responsibilities so I can concentrate on my “priorities”. My heart belongs to THIS blog and SPCC, my color combo challenge blog so that is where I am going to be concentrating my efforts. I just don’t have the time to do all that I wanted to, so I am handing over the reins. I am already running low on time and classes haven’t even started yet. So long story short. . . I will still be on the DT over there, but no longer running the show! I feel a sense of relief and a bit of sadness at the same time. It is the right thing to do for me so it is what I chose.
I am feeling so STRESSED OUT today at the thought of starting spring semester (I’m a college student if you didn’t know)!! WAH, I don’t want to go!!
Now, since I have done way too much talking already, let’s move on to today’s project -my cute little cupcake card:
For my cupcake, I used tons of scraps of my scrap pile. It was a challenge one day on The Pink Stamper’s blog and I went with it.
My cupcake card was all cut from the Cricut Sweet Treats cartridge. The paper is a combo of My Mind’s Eye glitter paper, DCWV patterned paper, and Stampin’ UP cardstock. I used Only Orange cardstock for the base of the card and then Very Vanilla cardstock for the top of the cupcake.
The sentiment stamp is from the Stampin’ UP Well Scripted stamp set and it is stamped in Pumpkin Pie Classic ink.
I used the Creamy Caramel Classic Ink and a Sponge Dauber to ink around the edges of the cupcake and heart at the top.
