Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday! Wednesday means there is a new challenge over at Cricutters Anonymous (formerly Just Buggin). Come on over and check it out! I will have my challenge project posted later in the challenge week, but for today, I have another project for Garden From the Heart week.
This was a simple card I made that was inspired by the new Color Renovation. If you don’t know what I am talking about, click here to read all about it!
The Ruby Red patterned paper I used was from the Patterns Pack III which is a level 1 hostess item. Ruby Red is unfortunately RETIRING at the end of June so be sure to stock up on it!
- The image on the card is all one stamp (the outline, bird and sentiment are all on the same stamp) from the Garden From the Heart stamp set. I used my Stampin’ UP Markers to make the sentiment a different color from the outline and bird. One of the best things about the Stampin’ UP Markers is this ability to color directly on your stamps and get more than one color!!! (And you can leave off a part of the stamp if you want by just not coloring over that part of the stamp!)
- Then I colored the bird in all the way when the Basic Black Marker area dried completely.
- The image was punched out using the Curly Label Punch.
