Back to Blog Land

Hello everyone! This is Samantha again! I am back in blog land and I have so much to share with y’all.  Didn’t Allison do an awesome job keeping up with my bloggity this week???  Please take a moment to visit her blog and thank her for being such a great friend and for stepping up to the plate for me when I needed an extra hand. She totally rocks!!

A grandma update: My grandma is still in the hospital, but she is starting to do much better. They still have her on heavy pain meds because she has had so much trauma to her body. Her kidneys are working again and it looks like she is going to be just fine. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. It has been a really tough week for our family, and I am thankful that everything is going to be OK.

Also, starting TOMORROW, we are going to be celebrating ALL WEEK LONG because SP has hit 200,000 visitors!!! I have some amazing giveaways lined up and it is going to be awesome!!! You are in for a week of surprises!!! It is going to be lots of fun.

Before I get to today’s project, I want to tell you about something else that is really awesome. iCopic’s blog is starting to do Copic Color Challenges. WAHOO! You know I absolutely LOVE color challenges and I will definitely be playing along.

Now, for my project! This card was the first card I made with the SP August Card Kit. Please purchase your SP kits today from the Sidebar :O)

The scallop frame is actually a chipboard shape (that is included with your SP August Kits). I did a special fun technique on it to make it shimmery!! The August Kits feature the beautiful Greenhouse Gala designer series paper. I absolutely love this paper pack and I have really enjoyed playing with this paper.

The stamps I used for this card are from the Stampin’ Upsy Daisy stamp set. This was one of the first stamp sets that I purchased and I still love it just as much today as I did when I first got it.

That’s all I have for you today. Check back here tomorrow bright and early to see the first 200K Celebration giveaway.  Be sure to sign up to be a follower so you don’t miss anything.

Sign up for updates via email & never miss a project!
