Happy Snowman Card

Hi!! Happy Saturday!!

Today, I would like to tell you a little bit about my brand new Stamp set called Falling Snow. This set is one of my favorites because it is a great stand alone stamp set. This stamp set comes with a main image, snowflakes, a couple sentiments, and snow mounds! I just love that you can design a whole card just using this set alone. Of course, like all of my stamp sets, these stamps can be used with ANY other stamps out there on the market.  (and I can see those snow mounds coming in handy for other things, not just snow!!)

Again, today I added some close-up photos for ya. If you like having the close-up photos, please let me know because I don’t want to continue taking the extra time on it if y’all don’t feel like it helps.

I colored the little snowman in with the following Copic colors from

iCopic

  • C1 (I outlined the snow and right inside the  snowman with the one to add a little dimension)
  • C6 (for his buttons)
  • B00
  • B02
  • YR02
  • B29

The snowflakes were stamped in Baja Breeze classic ink and the sentiment was stamped in Pacific Point classic ink. I used a sponge dauber around the edges using the Baja Breeze ink, but there was some Bermuda Bay ink already on the Sponge dauber so it came out looking a little bright.

The card base is Vintage Cream by Papertrey Ink.

  1. Sami that is adorable! I saw a card recently that featured snowy hills like these and they cut them apart and readhered them using pop dots. It looks awesome! Not that yours doesn’t 🙂 But it really added bunches of dimension to it. Your snowman is so stinkin cute!!!

  2. Samantha your card looks great and what wonderful stamped images! I like being able to see closeups, but I usually just click on the main picture to enlarge it to see it better if necessary.
