I created a Facebook page for SP and Company Stamps so if you have a second, please “like” it for me :O) There is a new box on my right sidebar and you can just click “like” at the top of that box (to get to the FB page, you can also click here: SP and Company Stamps). If you feel super wonderful today, feel free to add my new SP and Company button to your blog sidebar 🙂
And I will have 4 Christmas stamps to debut next week!! I am really excited about how the Christmas ones came out and I hope you will love them too.
So now let’s get down to business! LOL (I love the word business!) For today’s project, I created a layout.
Now I know what you are thinking, “But Sami, there are no SP and Company stamps on this layout”. BUT it is not true! Do you see all those journaling lines??? Those lines came from a stamp from the Scallops and Lines Stamp Set! I created this stamp set to be the ultimate journaling stamp set! That shape was a die cut from the Cricut Create a Critter stamp set and I just cut it out of plain old cardstock, but I made it a journaling shape with the line stamp! Isn’t that pretty neat?!
And the journaling was done by hand with my handy dandy Copic Multiliner SP .3mm size from iCopic. This thing is awesome!! It writes so super smooth and the cool thing about the SP Multiliners is that they are REFILLABLE!! I love it when things are refillable because that means you don’t waste as much!! WOOT!!
So I used a bunch of different Cricut cuts on this layout. The letters were made from the Holiday Cakes cartridge (cut at 2.25inches). Then I embellished the letters with Star Dust colored Stickles glitter glue.
The scallops across the bottom were also cut from the Cricut Holiday Cakes cartridge. I cut them at 1inch and the scallop borders were about 8 inches long. Both scallop layers were cut at the same size, and I just layered them together.
All cardstock used is Stampin’ UP, except the darker green cardstock. The darker green cardstock is Papertrey Ink Ripe Avocado.
