Hello!! I hope you have had a fantastic day.
I happen to be really proud of my project for you today. It is a special scrapbook layout of me with my grandma. She is making a hilarious face in this layout, and I am stuffing my face (I have quite a few photos of me like this! HA HA) so it is especially funny since we are both not ready for the photo. . . but alas, it is one of my favorite photos of all time and I was so excited to make a copy of it and scrapbook it.
Today, I have combined my new favorite paper company Echo Park (this is from the Everybody Loves Christmas collection) with SP and Company Exclusive Stamps. Don’t the stamps just go absolutely perfectly with the paper?!?!
And of course, I colored in my little gingerbread man with my Copics from iCopic. Speaking if iCopic, early next week, I am going to show you one of their most awesome products and you are going to fall completely in love with it. Let me tell you, if you don’t already LOVE Copics from iCopic, you totally will once I show you my new favorite tool!!
Anyway, so let’s get to my layout for Day 5: This one is titled Building *and Eating* a Gingerbread House
I am REALLY trying to improve my photography and photoshop skillz. . . hope you can tell :O)
I used the Stitchery Doo Stamp Set around the edges of the entire 12X12 paper. My stamping stitchwork wasn’t perfect, but neither is real stitchwork so I think it was perfectly fine!!
- RV02 and RV04 for the cheeks
- E29 for the icing stripes and the eye (it is a very deep brown).
- E33 and E35 for the cookie part
These little alpha stickers and the accent stickers I used are all from Echo Park and are also part of the Everybody Loves Christmas collection. The big glittery pink letters are Thickers from American Crafts called Rainscript Petal Glitter Foam Thickers (and they are available in the SP store).
I finished the cute little gingerbread man off with some adhesive pearls from Pebbles, Inc. and then trimmed it out with my Xacto knife. Finally, I made it pop off the page using some Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Oh, and I used a sponge dauber around the edges of my layered patterned papers!
