Christmas Cards Continued

Hello everyone.

I have some sad news for you today about my baby puppy Emma. On Monday night, Emma started shutting her right eye like she got something in it. Well we flushed her eye with water and just watched her. She never scratched at it or seemed uncomfortable, but something just wasn’t right. So this morning, she was still closing her eye. So I called the vet and they had me bring her in immediately! After some inspection and pressure measurements. . . we got bad news!! She has to have her eye removed and will be having the surgery this morning. The only good news is that the eye is already damaged (she has a detached retina, and probably can’t even see out of it anyways) and it isn’t her good eye that has to be removed. I am so sad for my little baby. Please keep my little baby in your thoughts and prayers.

And after getting the worst news, we went out for a pre-wedding celebration. We had already made our reservations, and had a great time! I will have photos from the event for you another time.
