Love is in the Air!

Hi folks!!

Welcome to your last stop on the Love is in the Air blog hop! You should be arriving here from Amy’s wonderful blog. If not, make sure to head over to Amber’s blog which is the first stop on the hop.

If you are new to the SP blog, then welcome!! My name is Samantha Peyton, and I am the owner of SP and Company Stamps. Today, you have seen some of the amazing projects that have been made with my stamp designs and I hope you love what you see. More wonderful designs will be making their debut in February so please stick around to see what comes next!Β  I blog here daily and also offer a weekly newsletter filled with even more fun.

So for the hop, I have three love themed cards to share with you, all featuring SP and Company stamps. You will find the details for each card directly underneath the photo of the card. And then, I have a prize up for grabs at the end!

CARD 1

P1204345 copy

This card was made using the Artsy Heartsy stamp set (for the hearts) and the Mix ‘N Match: Friends stamp set (for the sentiment). The hearts were done with two-step stamping. The card base is Pretty in Pink cardstock. The following inks were used: Real Red, Pretty in Pink, and Basic Black. The great thing about SP and Company stamps is that they are CLEAR so you can line up your stamps exactly where you want them! This card came together in a snap!

CARD 2

This card features stamp from the Mix ‘N Match: Friends stamp set (for the sentiment) and the Hearty Hearts Backgrounds (for the pattern). With the Hearty Hearts Backgrounds stamp set, it is super easy to make your own background. The stamps in this set are designed so that your stamped background area can be as big as you want it to be! I added a bow using Papertrey Ink Ribbon, and a scallop using white glitter paper from DCWV. The cardstocks used are: Pretty in Pink, and Crumb Cake. The inks used were Basic Black, Pretty in Pink, and Melon Mambo.

EDITED TO ADD: Many of you have asked about how I tie my bows. You are in luck because I have a Bow Tying Tutorial Video already πŸ™‚Β  Enjoy!

CARD 3

This card looks really simple, but it actually features a lot of stamping. I used the following SP and Company stamp sets: Hearty Hearts Backgrounds (for the background on the marquee shape), Lovely Labels (for the marquee shape), Candy Hearts (for the sentiment inside the heart in the “you”), and Rain Boots (for the tiny floating hearts). The big I Love You sentiment was cut from the Cricut Paper Lace cartridge at 2.5inches tall. The ribbon is from Stampin’ UP. I added faux stitches to the edge of the cardstock with a Signo white gel pen.

THE PRIZE:

This stamp set was featured on two of my projects for today. This is just a super fun set for all of those just because cards to your friends. I absolutely LOVE this stamp set,Β  and I am sure you will too!! One lucky reader is going to win a copy of this stamp set!!
