Hello peeps! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Other than giving my little puppy Emma lots of love, we haven’t been up to much in the Strachan Peyton household. We are getting ready to put away the Christmas decorations (always a sad time, I would love to have Christmas last all year long!), but I am excited for starting a fresh new year.
I will be changing around some of my blog elements and getting things around here more organized for you all. I hope to continue to be a source of daily inspiration for my loyal readers and I have some great new things planned for SP in 2011!
Do you have any New Years resolutions for 2011? I have quite a few crafty goals for 2011, but most of them are pretty general:
- Create even more awesome SP and Company stamps!
- Get my scrappy work published in print
- Craft more and use up lots of the paper in my stash
- Do a complete scraproom overhaul (give away and sell anything I am not seriously going to use)
- Spend less on scrappy stuff (one of my goals every year)
My biggest goal for the new year is to complete my Cricut Project 365 – in which I will create a Cricut creation every day for the year! My Cricut Project 365 will be documented on its very own blog, Imagination Land. You can head over there now and see my very first creation and get in on some BLOG CANDY!! YAY!
Well today, I am going to show you a card that was made using TWO of the brand new SP and Company stamp sets that will start shipping on Tuesday!! A little bit later today, make sure to check back here because I am going to announce our AMAZING guest designer for January! You are going to love her work!!
OK, let’s get to the card details.
The heart background was made with my new set called Hearty Hearts Backgrounds Stamp Set. This set is so cute!! I love heart backgrounds so I made a whole stamp set full of different heart backgrounds. The inside of the hearts was hand colored with Copic color R29 (of course from iCopic.com).
The XO border and the Love sentiment are both from the new set called I Love Love Stamp Set.
For the card base, I used Cherry Cobbler cardstock from Stampin’ UP. The ribbon is a retired ribbon from Stampin’ UP also.
I used Stampin’ UP Pretty in Pink and Basic Black classic inks.
I hope you enjoyed it! See y’all later!
