Hello everyone! I hope your 2011 is off to a great start!
Today, I want to share an extra special card with you. This card was designed for the My Pink Stamper challenge: use your favorite Cricut cartridge and the following colors: Pink, Brown, Green, and one other color (I chose turquoise).
Robyn is having a design team call and I would LOVE to be on her team. I have been a long time follower of Robyn’s. I met her at CHA this past July and let me tell you, she is just as sweet in real life as she seems on her videos. I absolutely adore her (and her stamps! LOL) and have great respect for everything she does in the scrappy world. She is one of my inspirations!
And so, for the challenge, I have designed this little beauty:
- The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper’s Fruit and Veggie Puns stamp set. I stamped the sentiment in Stampin’ UP Early Espresso classic ink.
- The cupcake is from one of my absolute favorite Cricut cartridges called Simply Charmed. I assembled all the layers and then added the white part to the cherry with the Stampin’ UP Signo white gel pen. The sugar sprinkles are called “Snow” from Martha Stewart. I attached them with a VersaMarker and Stampin’ UP’s heat and stick powder.
- The patterned papers are all from Echo Park.
- I used the following Stampin’ UP Cardstocks: Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, Pear Pizazz, Whisper White, and Chocolate Chip.
Well I hope you enjoyed my project for today. Be sure to stop by my Imagination Land today for even more Cricut inspiration using the Cricut Simply Charmed cartridge!
