I spent entirely way too much time on this card, but I had a lot of fun with it. I generally spend somewhere around 15-30 minutes per card, but I easily spent an hour and a half making this one. Maybe it was worth it?
The awesome girl image and the sentiment really make this card. The girl is from The Greeting Farm set called Special Autumn which I got from iCopic.com.
The sentiment is actually made up of two Mix ‘n Match pieces. The Rockin’ is from the Mix ‘N Match: Friends stamp set and the Chick is from the new Easter Eggy stamp set. The new Easter Eggy set has two sentiments specifically designed to coordinate with all the Mix ‘n Match sentiments.
This super fly patterned paper is from Glitz. It is part of an 8X8 inch paper pack I picked up on clearance at Hobby Lobby a while back.
For coloring I used the following Copic colors, which I got from iCopic.com:
- For the hair: E31, E33, and E35
- Clothing: W1, W3, B93, B95, B97, R32, R35, and R37 (I also used the R32 for the eyeshadow)
- Skin: E000, E00
- Cheeks: E53
- Background: E93 (I also used this to go around the white paper I used for the sentiment)
Then I accented the hair bows, boots, and eyeshadow with bling: Adhesive Rhinestones from Stampin’ UP and Ranger Stickles Glitter Glue in Diamond.
The card base is Real Red cardstock from Stampin’ UP. The scallop border was made with Tempting Turquoise cardstock, adhesive rhinestones, and the Scallop Edge Border Punch.
