Hello crafty folks!
Today is USE IT Tuesday! WAHOO! The challenge this time is to use some of those fasteners you have been hoarding, buttons, brads, eyelets, etc. Now don’t be shy, you know you’ve got a lot of them 🙂 I know I do! Tee hee!
Head on over to the USE IT Tuesday blog and enter.
So here it is:
I used one of my most cherished fasteners. . . the corduroy button from Stampin’ UP. So lovely!! I have so many of these that I will never get rid of them all. They are like treasure coins to me LOL.
The sentiment is actually two separate stamps, from the SP and Company For Every Woman stamp set. The flower vase is also from the For Every Woman stamp set. IMPORTANT: For Every Woman is currently on re-order with my manufacturer because I am just about of them (one left), but they will not be back in stock for a couple of weeks.
The patterned paper I used is from the Echo Park Walk in the Park collection. This sheet is called Tree Tops.
I colored in the flower and Vase with the following Copic colors from iCopic.com: RV000, RV02, RV06, YG06 and E47. I accented the center of the flower and the vase with some white gel pen to give it a little extra.
To finish off the card, I added some beautiful pink Divine Twine from iCopic.com and topped it with the corduroy button.
