iCopic Weekly Challenge #30

Hey there, peeps!

Today is iCopic Weekly Challenge #30, which is one of my personal favorites. It is the Blond hair challenge. I think coloring hair with Copics is actually one of the most fun things to color, and you can color it any way you would like because real people’s hair colors are always totally different! You can have subtle highlights, low lights, chunky variations, etc.

Also, Yellows are some of the colors that tend to blend the best!

I hope you will give it a try and play along this week! Click here for all the official details!

Speaking of iCopic, they are offering an awesome Coupon Code right now so be sure to stock up!

Now, I really had fun with this one and experimented with a bunch of blond color combos. Here are the best of my results. Feel free to try these combos out for yourself:

And now, here is my project: I chose to use Y11, Y15, and Y17 for this blond hair.

The image I used is the Magnolia Tilda with Hanging Rabit from iCopic.com. She is super cute!

I used the following Copic colors from iCopic.com to complete the image:

  • BG000, BG10, and BG13 for the apron part of her dress.
  • Y11, Y15, and Y17 for her hair.
  • RV00, RV02, RV04 for her boots and dress.
  • E0000, E000, and E00 for her skin.
  • E51 and E53 for the bunny.
  • C0, C1, C2, and C3 for the shadows.

The patterned papers are from the April SP Collection Stamping Kit. The May Subscription kits are shipping out TODAY so make sure to pick up yours today!! I have only a couple kit sign ups left for this month.

The sentiment is actually two separate stamps from the SP and Company Mix ‘N Match: Friends stamp set. This set is one of my favorites because I love making just because cards for my friends. Really you can use the “You are” + adjective (descriptive word) stamp for anybody, and it will brighten up their day. What could be better than celebrating someone you love!

The card base was made with Tempting Turquoise cardstock from Stampin’ UP

I have entered this project into the following challenges:
