Sweet Birthday Card

Hello crafty peeps!!

I have been hard a work getting things finalized for this month’s STAMP RELEASE!! The fun starts on Saturday and I cannot wait!! The new design team has done such a great job getting ready for this month and it is going to be awesome. You are going to want to make sure to check back early on Saturday to catch the fun.

And tonight, I have a fun birthday card to show ya! This card features a sentiment with the Mix ‘n Match collection. The “have a” and “birthday” are from the Mix ‘N Match: Basics stamp set and stamped in black ink. The “Sweet” is from the Mix ‘N Match: Friends stamp set and was stamped in Melon Mambo classic ink from Stampin’ UP.

I added some Divine Twine from  iCopic.com in the brown color. In the center, I added a pink corduroy button from Stampin’ UP (these are retired).

Around the edges of the card, I added some ink.

And this cute little cupcake was made with the Cricut Once Upon a Princess cartridge. It was cut at 3.25inches tall. I used the following Stampin’ UP cardstocks: Regal Rose, Basic Black, and Crumb Cake (Kraft).

The patterned paper I used is from the Echo Park Springtime 6X6 paper pack.

To embellish the icing part of the cupcake, I used some Sheer Shimmer Spritz, in the color Sparkle, from iCopic.com and then I added some adhesive rhinestones from Stampin’ UP
