Blush Bonnie Coloring Fun

Hey, scrapmasters!! How are ya?!  I hope you are having a lovely Friday.

For today, I have not the usual ONE, but TWO lovely cards for you.  Both cards feature The Greeting Farm’s Blush Bonnie stamp and a sentiment from the SP and Company Bold Sentiments I stamp set. And both cards have been shared on the iCopic blog.

Here is the first card:

The background papers for this card came from the My Mind’s Eye Lost and Found Two Breeze 6X6 paper pad.

I used the following Copic colors:

  • For her skin: E000, E00, and E01 (I also added some dots with a white gel pen)
  • For her hair: E30, E31, and E53
  • For her outfit: BG70, BG72, BG75, and BG78
  • For the shadow under her: W1 and W3

Here is a close up of my coloring:

Notice how I made the shadow under her. I made it a little splotchy and not a perfect oval shape. I tried to create the illusion of the ground being there, without having to actually color in the whole area with ground.

I decided to use Blush Bonnie for another card, except this time, I wanted to make her a red head! Red hair is something I haven’t done before so here is my first try at it. I even gave her freckles!

Well, the freckles didn’t turn out looking so good, but I think the hair is really pretty! I love the color you can get with Copics!

The polka dot patterned paper for this card came from the Lost & Found Christmas Collection 6×6 Paper Pad.

I used the following Copic colors:

  • For the skin: E00 and E01 (freckles were done with E08)
  • For the hair: E08, E09, and E19
  • For the outfit: V15, V91, and V95
  • For the shadow: W1 and W3
