Taste Testers Layout

Hey everyone!

Don’t forget that today is the first ever $5 Friday!! Yippee!! Go shopping and have fun.

This project  for today is actually from a little while ago. I made it using the August SP Subscription Club Kit. Well,  I am now taking sign-ups for the November kit, which is going to be FANTASTIC also. I think everyone should sign up for the kits, but ya know, that’s because I am a little biased.

This layout was inspired by these adorable photos I took of the pups licking off a spatula after I was baking. They are always in the kitchen with me waiting for me to drop something, so I thought they deserved a little treat.

Anyways, this layout is one of my faves because it is retro, and it is inky!! Have I told you lately how much I LOVE Mini Misters ? Well it is true! They are so fun because you can fill them with anything and then ink away!

Layout Details

  • The patterned paper, sticker elements, and small alphas all came from the Echo Park Happy Days Collection Kit which was part of the August SP Monthly Kit.
  • The journaling was done on the line stamp from the SP and Company Scallops and Lines stamp set. This stamp set always comes in handy when I am working on layouts. If you are like me, you can’t write in a straight line. . . except with the help of lines 🙂 I love that these lines can just be stamped exactly where you want to write. Easy peasy!
  • I outlined many of the sticker elements with my handy dandy Copic Multiliner from iCopic.com . I also did my journaling with it. This think comes in handy soooo often. I actually lost him a few weeks back and was struggling without him! Thankfully, he has now been found 🙂
  • The larger alphas are felt Thickers from my stash.
  • For the background mist, I used a Mini Mister filled with Bermuda Bay reinker from Stampin’ UP. This was one of last years colors which is now retired. I just love the spray effect that a Mini Mister gives!!
  • The photos were matted onto some Sahara Sand cardstock, from Stampin’ UP.
