Hello everyone! Today is my very first day posting over at The Greeting Farm’s Blog! I am so excited to be able to start sharing even more TGF with you guys.
Today, for Tutorial Tuesday, I have a super simple way for you to glam up your TGF images: Glitter Pop.
Glitter is one of my favorite things, so I thought why not use it directly on my stamped images? I have used this same technique over different parts of patterned papers and also to decorate some 3d snowflakes, but this is the first time using it directly on a stamped image. I call it Glitter Pop!
For my tutorial, I used one of the adorable new Miss Anya Garland girls, the one with the heart garland.
I used the following Copic colors to color in Miss Anya:
- For her skin: E000, E00, E21
- For her clothing: R21 (I also used this one for her cheeks), R22, R24, R27, R29
- For her hair: Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17
I created a quick video to show you just how easy this technique really is:
My card uses one of the versatile sentiments from the new Made By stamp set. This set is not just for the backs of your cards. Many of the sentiments could easily be used on the front of a card or a gift tag. It is just so great when a stamp set has so many uses!
Well that is all for today. I hope that you will give this one a try. It just gives such a fabulous WOW factor to a stamped image.
