Whew! Lots of fun going on! So now let’s move on to today’s project. . .
Everything minus the black cardstock (matting the photos), the ribbon, the twine, and the heart (from the Artsy Heartsy stamp set) was from the December SP Monthly Kit. This kit is one of my faves so far. I just love the colors and patterns, and it worked perfectly for my scrapbook pages. The kit contained the Yours Truly Collection Kit + SP Stamps!
The little XOXO Banner was made with some of the sticker elements and twine. I attached all the twine (from The Twinery) to the layout using Micro Glue Dots(r). They are only 1/8inch wide so they worked perfectly to hold down my twine, and you don’t see them because they are so small. And boy, are these babies STRONG. They definitely did their job.
I just LOVE how everything on this page worked out. When I planned it out in my head, it didn’t look anything like this, but when I was crafting, this is what popped out.
I made these rosettes out of the patterned papers in the SP Monthly kit. Then I attached them with Craft Glue Dots(r) and put hearts in the center.
The larger heart was stamped from the Artsy Heartsy Stamp Set in Stampin’ UP Real Red and Pretty in Pink inks. I used the coordinating SVG file (Artsy Heartsy Hearts SVG Cut File) to trim out the white cardstock I stamped on.
The smaller heart is a sticker element from the SP Monthly kit.
The pink ruffle was created with some extra wide ribbon. This ribbon is a retired Stampin’ UP ribbon. I actually tried a new (to me) technique for getting the ruffle and I hope to share my secret with you soon.
These rosettes add lots of texture and dimension to the page. LOVE them!! I plan on doing a tutorial for how to make these beauties very soon!
