Just a Note Meadow Card

Hi everyone!! Happy Saturday.

I got a bunch of new goodies from iCopic.com to play with so I have a new project to share.  I had lots of fun creating this a few days ago! I had my eye on this stamp as soon as it came out so I dove right in and colored it up 🙂

Here’s the finished card:

This Wild Rose Studio stamp is so gorgeous!! I wanted every single stamp from their newest release!! This one is called Annabelle in the Meadow.

I used the following Copic colors:
E00, E21 (for the skin), E15 (for the hair), E57, E59 (for the dog)
Y23, Y26 (for the hat and apron), Y13 (for the birds)
YG61 (for the greenery), B00 (for the flowers)
RV10, RV11, RV13 (all for the outfit and pink flowers)
Spica Glitter Pens #2 and #6

The patterned paper is from the coordinating Wild Rose Studio 6×6 paper pad called Annabelle. I drew my color scheme from these patterned papers that I used on my project.

The card measures 5.5inches tall and 5inches wide (I just cut an 8.5X11inch paper longways at 5inches and then folded it in half).

I added a sentiment from the SP and Company Just a Note stamp set on a piece of a die cut made using the Labels Nine Nestabilities. I just cut along one side so I was left with the bracket shape. The sentiment fit perfectly on it.

And finally, I added some Stampin’ UP ribbon & a cute button & twine from the Trendsetters Buttons & Twine set from Webster’s Pages. The button is a cardboard adhesive backed button. So easy to work with because it just stuck right to the ribbon.

Well that’s it for today folks! I hope that the rest of your weekend is wonderful. I will be back Monday with another project to share, but I am taking Sunday off. See you soon!!

Today we have an AMAZING guest designer on the SP Stamps Blog so head over there now and see the sweet project she made!

  1. Beautiful card!!! Glad to hear your granddad is doing better. For me its hard to try and work from someone elses house. Maybe because I have sooooo much stuff 🙂

  2. Your card is so fresh and pretty! I love the colours you used. I can see why you were so anxious to try out that sweet stamp. You did a beautiful job colouring it.
Glad your Grampa is feeling better. You are such a sweetheart to look after things for your Mom. 🙂
