Hi everyone, this is the second project for today so be sure to scroll down for another project!
This is my project for this week’s Farm Fresh Friday Challenge. This week’s challenge was to use classic patterns on your card. I chose polka dots and grid patterns.
Keep reading for all the card details.
This project was my first time using this stamp set, called Sitting Cute (from The Greeting Farm). She’s such a little doll, I especially love her braids. BUT what I love most about this set is that comfy couch! How adorable is that thing?!
Here’s my complete card:
I used the following Copic Colors:
- (couch pillows and clothing) YG07, YG09
- (hair) YR21, YR23, YR24
- (skin) E000, E00, E02
The patterned papers are from the Note to Self collection kit from Echo Park, which was part of the SP Monthly Kit from March.
I used kraft cardstock for the card base. I rounded the bottom corners of the card and then added some faux stitching with a Signo white gel pen.
The label shape in that the sentiment is on, was made with a Labels Two Nestabilities die. I used one die on the grid paper and one die on the lime paper. I stamped the sentiment (also from the Sitting Cute stamp set) in Crumb Cake ink from Stampin’ UP.
