Hi there! Boy, have I got a project for you today! No laughing, OK?? No, seriously, laugh as much as you want because this photo is totally awesome! This is a photos of my cousin and me!! She’s in the San Fran shirt and I am in the oh so stellar CAMO! HA! This was back in 1999 so she was 12 and I was 11. I titled this layout Cool Kids Club because were thought we were totally cool! 🙂
Are you ready to see it? Well here it is:
For this layout, I used the June SP Monthly Kit. I also added in some Smash Tape from K & Company, some Thickers from American Crafts, and some cute little hearts from the SP and Company Rain Boots & Round Sentiments I stamp sets.
All of the patterned papers, journaling card, and sticker elements (the banner, the tiny alphabets) were included in the monthly kit, and are from the Echo Park So Happy Together Collection Kit.
I used the Mix ‘n Match Sentiments: Kids & Friends stamp sets around the wind gust area near the top. This stamp set was also included in this month’s kit. I thought these words worked great to describe the awesome-ness of this photo!
To stamp the hearts on the banner sticker, I used StazOn black ink so that the ink would stay put. These sticker elements are coated so plain old ink will smear.
Here are the Mix ‘n Match words. I pulled the “Delightful”, “Lovely”, and “Awesome” from the Mix ‘n Match Sentiments: Friends stamp set. The rest of the words are from the Mix ‘n Match Kids set.
That’s it for now. Tomorrow I will be back with another fun layout (not nearly as funny as this one though!). See ya soon!
