Funny Kid Card

Hey there!! Happy Thursday! I’m a little late with my post today because I have been caring for a sick kiddo the past two days! Boy, those little sickies can wear ya out, I tell ya. And I’m not even the mommy, I’m just watching her during the day, LOL!  I hope that you and your family are nice and healthy. There seems to be a summer bug going around our area so stay healthy! I mean it!

My card today is a silly little card. I made this card with the Purple & White challenge going on over at Just Magnolia. Luckily I had already colored in this cute little monkey. I just added the purple parts and then fixed up the rest of my card. This is Sally the Monkey from Magnolia & it is available at MarkerPop (the new iCopic!). I used my Copics to color her in.

I knew this monkey stamp would be PERFECT with the new Mix ‘n Match Sentiments: Kids stamp set because of the little sign that the monkey is holding. Since the money is kind of goofy, I used the sentiment “Funny Kid”. I think it would be great for a little child because kids love to think they are funny 🙂

Here’s another look at my finished card:

Additional supplies used:
Stampin’ UP Cardstock (Concord Crush & possibly Lavender Lace, not sure on the lighter one)
Stampin’ UP Twill tape
Purple Twine from The Twinery
Stampin’ UP Brights button
Echo Park Summer Days patterned paper
