Hi everyone! I appreciate all the wonderful birthday wishes I have received via the comments section, Facebook, and via email!!! I was bombarded with the best birthday wishes a girl could ever hope to receive! You all are so amazing & I feel so special knowing that you are all so kind to me. I wish I had better birthday new, but unfortunately, I came down with a cold & sore throat on my birthday and it totally messed up my birthday plans. My birthday celebration has been postponed until I am feeling better. Totally LAME, but I will survive 😉
OK enough whining. . . On a much happier note, I have a bright and cheery card for you today. I made this card for the Summer & Sunshine Retro Fresh challenge happening over on The Greeting Farm Blog. Click here to see the challenge and play along! Below, I will share all my card details with you.
I decided to use this adorable image from the Furever clear stamp set from The Greeting Farm. In this set, there is also an adorable little girl holding a kitty. So cute!! I colored this girl walking her dog with my Copics. The dog is a plain lined image, but I made the dog look spotty. I don’t have my Copic colors list for this one because I colored it a while ago.
I used some patterned paper and a sticker element from the Echo Park Sweet Day collection kit, which was included in the May SP Monthly Kit. The sticker element just said “Bright Sunshiny Day” so I added “Have a” with a Turquoise Spica glitter pen.
To finish off the card, I added some Pool Party colored Seam Binding from Stampin’ UP.
I also used the following cardstock colors: Ocean Tides from Papertrey Ink and Summer Sun from Stampin’ UP.
This card was a pretty easy card to make aside from all the coloring.
Since I am still getting over my cold, I am not going to have much to share for the remainder of the week so I can work on getting ahead on projects for next week. I will see you soon! Hope your day is wonderful!!
