Copic Fur Stipple Technique

Hi everyone! Gosh, a lot has happened since I last wrote to ya. Well, maybe not A LOT, but something super duper exciting! I got a new video camera!!! I am so excited & it was just totally unexpected.  I have been trying to make more Copic coloring videos, and my old camera just wasn’t cutting it! I would try to zoom, and it would look horrible. The camera actually shoots HD quality video, but it only has something measly like 4X zoom, which makes it completely useless for close up videos like Copic coloring.

So I did some research and found a few that I liked. I asked my hubby if I could buy one & he said YES! Generally, larger purchase get more of a “in a couple months”, “let’s save up for it” type of response, but he knows how much I needed it for my videos.

I ended up with the lowest model Sony Handycam, which has 60X zoom!! I’ve only had it a few days, but I already like it.

Today, I have a new video to share, using my new camera! If you are on the SP Facebook page, you may have already watched this one. In this video, I show you a fun fur coloring technique.

  1. The videos are very sharp and clear. It was so nice of you to get a new camera. It makes your wonderful Copic coloring even better! I have always had a problem coloring fur and this really helps. I can’t wait to try it for myself. Best of everything, Phyllis O in CA.
