Introducing Filled with Cheer Emma + Project

Hey everyone! Whoa, 3 days in a row I am blogging! And it feels great 😉  Today, I am officially introducing Filled with Cheer Emma! I am so excited because I am absolutely in LOVE with the new AppleDapples collection. This collection is a long time in the making & I am going to be adding to it on a regular basis. I’ve got big plans for AppleDapple Emma and her friends. I just adore the clean, bold lines & easy to color/paper piece style of these characters. Those are qualities I really wanted for my character collection. I also LOVE that you can actually give these characters an eye color!!

Here is a quick video showing you all the stamps up close and personal:

And here is a project using Filled with Cheer Emma and one of her great sentiments. In retrospect, I wish I had photographed this card on a non-white background because the edges of the card are white. LOL, but you get the idea of what it looks like anyway.

This card was made using supplies from the September SP Monthly Kit. You can find out more about joining the SP Monthly Kit by clicking here. My kit members have been loving their kits!

For this card, I popped up the whole red layer with foam adhesive so it looks like the Emma stamp is in a window since the white layer is down a bit.

I colored Emma in with Copics, but it has been so long, I don’t have my list of colors for this one.

To cut out the window shape, I used a Labels Nine Nestabilities die. I added some rhinestones around the shape to give it some visual interest.

I added a handmade glitter button to the banner with the sentiment. That glitter button is one I made during a recent Frugal Friday video (click here to see it).  I added some Honeydew Twine from the Twinery to the center of the button.

The sentiment is also from the Filled with Cheer Emma stamp set. The sentiments included with this set are AMAZING all in their own right.

I think that about covers it. Oh, the green cardstock is old Kiwi Kiss cardstock from Stampin’ UP & is now retired (but their new Lucky Limeade is a very close substitute).

Below you can really see the dimension to the layers.

Tomorrow I will be back with another Frugal Friday video. Also, I am having a $5 Friday tomorrow also. Make sure you are signed up for the $5 Friday newsletter so you know what’s up for grabs for just $5.

  1. Your die-cut window popped up with Emma as the focal point is adorable. Great Copic coloring and love the bling also. The “Filled With Cheer” sentiments are absolutely perfect. Great card!

  2. Thanks for sharing and I can’t wait to see what other characters you have came up with. I love how easy they are to color and to paper piece. Love how you made this card so dimensional!!! TFS

  3. Love your card! I like how she looks like she is inside a window. Also, thanks for tips on coloring eyes. I always wondered how to color them when they were such big black circles.
