I have a no coloring Emma card for you, using one of our new AppleDapples collection stamp sets. This card was made using the Filled with Cheer Emma stamp set. I did absolutely NO COLORING on this one! It was also a quick, 5 minute card. I don’t think this one even took a full 5 minutes to make because it was just so clean and simple.
I decided to stamp the Filled with Cheer Emma onto blue cardstock using a matching blue ink. This created a nice tone on tone look on the background. I accented the image with two border strips.
The first border strip was made with a piece of white cardstock. I stamped it in the center with the “naughty & nice sentiment” and then stamped candy canes across the rest of the border strip. Both stamps are from the Filled with Cheer Emma stamp set. I popped this layer up on some Stampin’ Dimensionals to give it a 3D effect.
The second border strip was made using a sticker from the September SP Monthly Kit. This element came from the This & That Christmas collection’s element sticker sheet. The Filled with Cheer Emma stamp set was also a part of the September SP Monthly Kit. You can read more about our fun kit club by clicking the Kit Club tab at the top of the blog.
Below you can see the dimension of the card. It isn’t a ton of dimension but it is enough to give it an eye-catching design. I love adding dimension to my homemade cards like this! This type of subtle dimension will not require extra postage on your cards unless the card weighs a lot (which this one doesn’t).
Since this card is no coloring, it would be a perfect card for mass producing for the holidays! You could substitute out the red sticker for patterned paper scraps you have in your stash. In no time flat you could make a bunch of these and send a card to all your friends and family.
