Hi everyone! Today, I have some project details for a card I made for this week’s MarkerPop Coloring Challenge. This week’s challenge is so cute! It is called Oldies, but Goodies –use your oldest markers! Ah, isn’t that fun?! I hope you will join in on the fun, click here to read more about the challenge.
This amazing stamp is one of my absolute favorites!! It is from Gorjuss and it is called The Runaway. I am totally becoming obsessed with these Gorjuss images. They are just so whimsical and very fun to color. I wish I had them all really.
I have a video to go with this one. This is one of my older videos before I got my new camera but you get the basic technique. In this video, I share how I colored the rainbow sections:
I added a black outline around the scallops with the Pitch Black Spica glitter pen. I used a Spica glitter pen for the moon and stars (Buttermilk color). I popped the image up using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To finish off the card, I used a yellow piece of cardstock to make a banner and then stamped a Hello on it from the SP and Company Mini Card Creations II stamp set.
This patterned paper is from the Authentique Paper Pack Pad – Celebrate 6 x 6.
I used the following Copic Colors: My oldest colors were in the blue family so I used a lot of blue.
- For the airbrushing B93, B95 –these two were actually new though lol
- For the hair: C5, C7, C9, C10
- For the Skin: E00, E21
- For the Horse: B12. B14. B16, B18
- For everything else: RV23, RV25, V22, V25, V28, R27, YG23, YG25, B05, YR14, Y15
Well, that’s all I have to share today. Remember to leave a comment for another chance at this week’s giveaway.
