Hello everyone! Happy Thanksgiving!!
I actually scheduled this post to go live today because we are doing a bit of traveling this holiday. I hope that you have a safe, warm, and happy holiday if you are celebrating today.
Today, I’ve got a project for Day 4 of 25 Days of Copic Christmas. This card was made using the adorable Filled with Cheer Emma stamp set. This stamp set was part of the September SP Monthly Kit.
The sentiment and Emma girl both came from the Filled with Cheer Emma stamp set.
Expert Tip #4: Go Colorless
Colorless Blender that is! You can use the Colorless Blender for adding extra pattern to your Copic coloring. The colorless blender pushes the color away so when you draw over your copic coloring, you will create lighter areas on your image. I added stripes to little Emma’s dress using the Colorless Blender.
I have a video I made a while ago on colorless blender techniques so I wanted to share it since I actually added the stripes to Emma’s outfit during this video:
I do not have a complete Copic color list for you today because I colored this at two different times and lost my little sheet of paper I wrote the second set of colors on! I know, I know, I can be such a dweeb!! lol
Here are the colors I know I used:
- For the green areas: G14, G17, G19
- For the red areas: R22, R27, R29, R39
For some bling, I gave Emma some earrings using some Enamel Dots from the Winter Wonderland pack.
The patterned papers I used are from the Carta Bella Merry & Bright collection kit. The kit is sold out but some of the loose 12X12’s are still available. I also still have the 6×6 paper pad so I have included those on the shopping list below 🙂
The green cardstock is Wild Wasabi from Stampin’ UP.
Here’s another look at my card:
That’s it for today. Be sure to check back the SP Store at MIDNIGHT EST because the big Black Friday Sale starts then! Happy shopping tonight!
