Hi everyone! Happy Friday!
Today I’ve got another Copic Christmas project for you today & this one is one of my favorites! I used The Cutest Gingerbread Man stamp set & I had so much fun coloring in this little guy! I wanted him to look good enough to eat and I think he does 🙂
Project details are below.
I used the following Copic colors:
- E53, E55, E57, E59
I will post a the speed coloring video for this over the weekend. I was actually really glad I did a speed coloring video for this one because I did some different coloring “strokes” from my usual coloring in order to get the cookie texture on my image. I really had to work with it and play around with the coloring. When you watch it, I hope that you will see what I mean.
To embellish the gingerbread man, I used some Enamel Dots from My Mind’s Eye. These ones are from the pack called “Reasons Why” from the The Sweetest Thing collection.
This card is super simple so it could be one that you could mass produce. I used the coordinating SVG cutting file to cut out the gingerbread shape before I stamped him on so there was no hand cutting which is fabulous!
I actually used an SVG file to cut the piece for the Handmade Holiday Gift Tag image too.
The Handmade Holiday Gift Tag is one I had stamped during a Frugal Friday video (click here!) & I just had it in my little container of gift tags (which you can also see in that video). I just pulled it out to use it on this card.
The border strips on this card are actually washi tape from the Winter Wonderland collection. I just used my grid cutting mat to line up the tape where I wanted to so that it was straight on my card.
I popped the gingerbread man layer up with some Stampin’ Dimensionals and rounded the bottom corners of the card and then the card was complete!
That’s it for now. I *might* be back later tonight with another project for ya. See you soon!!
