Hi everyone! Part one of our new product packaging arrived yesterday and I am over the moon excited about it! The packages are going to be so pretty AND useful! I’m not talking cheapo plastic zipper bags. I am talking gorgeous, sturdy packaging that also serves as storage and organization! EEK! I know you all are going to love this. I have planned and worked really hard to find the best of the best and I cannot wait to be able to share it all with you when we are ready.
For Tutorial Tuesday, I decided to share the Faux chalkboard technique. I first saw this technique on Betsy Veldman’s blog (click here!) and love it. Then after a while, I kept seeing this technique everywhere! I’ve been itching to give it a try. I thought this technique would work beautifully with the cute little hearts of the Artsy Heartsy stamp set so I decided to play around with it today.
I feel like this technique would work well with many stamp sets, but I really wanted to make a Valentine’s themed card using this technique.
After I got done, I thought it would have been even cuter to have one of the AppleDapples standing in front of the chalkboard like at the front of a classroom. I may give that a try in the next few days. It would be so darling!!
I had a lot of fun with this technique and I hope you will give it a try. Have a great day!
