Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday. Starting today, there are going to be TWO posts on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month. One post is for my daily project (the first is this one!), and the second post is our new SP TRENDS CHALLENGE!! Yippee!! I want my complete project details to be separate from the challenge post so make sure you look for both posts today 🙂
For the first SP Trends Challenge, we were challenged to use Chevrons on our project. Well this challenge is super easy for me with the help of the Vintage October: Chevron Chase stamp! I used it for my card.
The card base was made from a scrap I had left in my stash. It measures 3.5X5.5inches.
I used matching green ink to create a tone on tone effect with the Chevron Chase stamp.
I added the number 9 from the One Two Three stamp set. I first cut out the number shape with the coordinating SVG file and my electronic die cutter. Then I stamped it with the number stamp. I popped this layer up using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Next I added a big bow using the Black Chevron Twill ribbon.
The sentiment is from the Bold Sentiments 3: Birthdays stamp set. I just stamped it in black ink.
To finish off the card, I just rounded the bottom corners with my Corner Chomper.
Well, that is all for now. Make sure you check out our brand new challenge and play along!! Our challenges are going to take the place of our weekly giveaways so that I can make the challenge prizes even bigger 😉
